Dr. Marijana Lobrović-Šalja qualified from the School of Dental Medicine in Zagreb in 1997. After beginning her career at Dubrovnik's General Health Centre, she founded her own practice — which has grown into a family business alongside her daughter, Dr. Marta Šalja. Marijana specialises in aesthetic prosthetics, including veneers and cosmetic dentistry, and is an active member of several professional associations committed to continuous learning.

Dr. Marta Šalja graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Split in 2024 and joined the family practice to continue a tradition her mother began over two decades ago. She focuses on restorative dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery, and regularly attends professional courses to stay at the forefront of modern techniques.

Jelka has worked in dental care her entire career — at Dubrovnik General Hospital and several private practices — and has been with us since we first opened our doors. Patients quickly notice her patience and warmth, especially children who are nervous about their visit.

Dr. Marijana Lobrović-Šalja graduates
Graduating from the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Zagreb, Dr. Šalja joins the public dental clinic in Dubrovnik.
Dr. Marijana opens her own clinic
After almost a decade in public health, Dr. Šalja opens her own dental clinic in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Her assistant Jelka Raguž joins her from day one and has been with the practice ever since.
Second treatment chair added
A second dentist's chair is added to the clinic, allowing us to serve more patients and provide better care.

Dr. Marijana's daughter, Marta, graduates from the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Split.
